What a beautiful location for an amazing meal! ❤️ @maha_restaurant in the beautiful sub-tropical Wharepuke gardens is a must-experience in Kerikeri... the food is divine! 😋

Owner and Head, Chef Ming Poon, was previously Wellington’s Chef of the Year - we are lucky to now have him and his culinary creativity here in the Bay of Islands.
I also really love that Ming is championing fresh, local Northland produce... give it a try! 😊

Saw the new Kerikeri airport for the first time, it is beautiful! 😍
I loved the old airport - it was very cute - but the new one has some lovely kiwiana details. 👌

Woohoo, finally a dairy-free and gluten-free dessert that’s not sorbet! It’s a chocolate avocado tart, very rich and decadent, served at the @dukeofmarlborough in Russell. 😋

I believe that @theveggietree is behind this yummy vegan creation. I’m hoping that more restaurants and cafés in the Bay of Islands and Kerikeri will cater better for those of us with food intolerances. Please!! 🙏

Pimping up my long weekend salad with these gorgeous microgreens from @leafproduce 😍🌱 So fresh! So tasty! So healthy! (Did you know that microgreens are up to 40 times more nutrient dense than the fully grown vegetable, by weight? It’s true!) You’ll find @leafproduce at The Old Packhouse Market, Kerikeri, on Saturdays. 🌱💚😊

A big thanks to the @dukeofmarlborough for letting me bring my dog, Minnie, to my birthday lunch last week. Dog friendly places are very much appreciated. 😊🐶❤️
(She was disappointed I didn’t share my scallops with her, but they were just too good!) 😋

We had a lovely walk on Long Beach afterwards. A fantastic day out!
